“I had the urge to purge! I knew some things would be harder than others. That’s where Abby came in. We had many phone conversations to “process” the releasing of items. Abby’s patience, calm demeanor, and gentle suggestions have been so powerful. It’s been a magical experience.
I came to realize a few things. One, I can love something and still let it go. I was able to find homes for great stuff I no longer needed. Two, those what-ifs and just-in-cases were taking up space, and may never be needed. I can let them go and know that I will have (or can get) what I need in the future. For now, it’s a luxury to have more space in closets and drawers.
